  • Greeting customers and providing a warm and friendly welcome

  • Adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and regulations

Position: Host/Hostess

Reports to: Restaurant Manager

We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Hostess to join our Mediterranean restaurant team. The Host/Hostess will be responsible for managing the reservation system, greeting and seating customers, answering customer questions, and providing a welcoming atmosphere. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service and communication skills, a friendly demeanor, and a passion for Mediterranean cuisine.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the restaurant manager

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of experience as a host/hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Attention to detail and the ability to multitask
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Familiarity with reservation systems and POS systems is a plus
